The YZ450F is the top of the heap in the Yamaha motocross lineup. The YZ250F is a multi-time Cycle News shootout winner. For those looking for two-stokes, the YZ250 is a great choice and Yamaha also still overs the YZ125 two-stroke. For the younger riders, the YZ85 is the bike to get started in racing.
On the off-road side, Yamaha offers a full range of models. The WR450F and WR250F include headlights and high-performance off-road capabilities. For those looking for a closed course off-road racer, the YZ450FX and YZ250FX models are a great choice. And the YZ250X two-stroke is an off-road worthy bike.
For the entry level off-road enthusiast, Yamaha offers the TTR line that includes 50, 110, 125 and 230 options. And the Yamaha PW50 is the model is the first motorcycle for many of the current top motocross racers.
Yamaha has three models in the Dual-Sport category. The WR250R is a pretty off-road capable model that features fuel injection. The Yamaha XT250 is a more entry level bike with an aid cooled engine and electric start. The TW200 features wide tires that makes it easier to navigate sand and other soft terrain.
The Yamaha Star Venture and Star Eluder are unique Touring motorcycles. The V-Twin models have a Cruiser motorcycle style and include a lot of features to make long miles comfortable.
