ORLANDO, FL, OCT. 16 – Star Motorcycles used the AIMExpo in Florida to introduce its newest addition to its popular performance bobber line—a sportier café style Bolt C-Spec.
Powered by the same 945cc V-Twin powerplant as its Bolt counterparts, the C-Spec stands apart in styling with a new seat design and removable seat cowl to give it that café racer signature look.
But the C-Spec is not just different in styling alone. In the handling department, it touts a 9mm longer fork and a 6mm longer shock that increases ground clearance by a full 1.5 inches. That extra clearance translates into four degrees more lean angle for better canyon-carving prowess. The C-Spec also has a more aggressive and sporty riding position, which was achieved by moving the footpegs up and back. And for those moments when you want to tuck in at speed, Yamaha has moved the instrument cluster up for higher visibility.
The Yamaha Bolt Spec-C arrives in dealerships in January for a base price of $8,690.00 and comes in two color options—Liquid Silver and Envy Green.
The Raider Bullet Cowl and Stryker Bullet Cowl editions also join the Star Motorcycle line in 2015. The Bullet Cowl adds additional wind protection to both models, as giving them a bolder look. The Raider Bullet Cowl comes available in the Raven color scheme for $15,390 and the Stryker Bullet Cowl in Camo Green for $12,090. Both Models will be available in dealers this month.
