Yamaha’s new WR250F is woods ready.
Yamaha took the wraps off one of its latest off-road models—the 2015 WR250F.
It’s basically and off-road version of the company’s well-liked YZ250F motocross bike and, like the YZ, features a rearward slanted, fuel-injected, 249cc, DOHC four-stroke engine with four titanium valves. It retains the YZ’s bilateral beam frame and KYB SSS front suspension. For the trails, the WR250F features an electric starter, aluminum side stand, a headlight,18-inch rear wheel, and a wide-ratio sixth-speed transmission.
The 2015 WR250F is also 50-state off-road compliant, so you can ride all year round. It will retail for $7,990 and is expected to be at the dealers in December.
The new WR250F is California-friendly.
