ORLANDO, FL, OCT. 16 – Today at the AIMExpo Yamaha announced the newest addition to the R-Series—the all-new YZF-R3.
Taking its styling cues from its bigger siblings, the all-new R3 has the recognizable full-fairing that lends to the racetrack. The power comes by way of a 320cc, liquid-cooled, in-line two-cylinder, DOHC, fuel-injected engine.
Yamaha showcases a low seat height or 30.7 inches, great for immediate confidence building for newer riders. Other features on 2015 YZF-R3 include, KYB front suspension, lightweight aluminum frame, 10 spoke wheels, LCD instrument panel, and more.
The YZF-R3 hits the dealerships in March 2015 with the MSRP of $4,990. It comes available in three color options—Team Yamaha Blue/Matte Silver, Rapid Red and Raven.
