Zero emissions YZF-R1 caught testing!

Those eagle-eyed colleagues of ours over at visordown.com in the UK have come across the latest generation of Yamaha YZF-R1 undergoing extremely secretive testing in Europe.
From the looks of it, the machine has finally managed to crack the problem of noise and pollution that’s been a constant problem for motorcycle engineers from day one, although we’re not 100 percent sure how much horsepower the bike cranks out at the wheel, but, judging by the enormous swingarm, we’re guessing a lot.
No one from Yamaha was willing to comment on the new machine, which isn’t surprising given the secretive nature of the project. The old-school bodywork and graphics were no doubt used to fool our cameraman into thinking it was a 2009 model R1 – thankfully he saw right through it, as well as the frame…
