MV Agusta will release six commemorative models dubbed the Ottantesimo range to celebrate its 80th anniversary in 2025, with each model limited to 500 units globally.
The lineup includes four 800cc triples and two 1000cc inline-fours, each featuring a laser-engraved plaque on the top yoke and a certificate of authenticity. In addition, these models receive significant upgrades to engines, chassis, and electronics.
The 800cc triple Ottantesimo range includes the Brutale RR, Dragster RR, F3 RR, and Superveloce S. These models retain the same power and torque from their counter-rotating 800cc triple engines but now meet Euro5+ emission standards.
Each model features a six-axis IMU for lean angle-sensitive safety assists, launch control, an up and down quickshifter, cruise control, and a 5.5-inch TFT dash with connectivity. The new clutch offers 50 percent lighter lever action, and the Dragster RR comes equipped with MV’s SCS clutch, allowing the bike to stop in gear without using the clutch lever (we tested this machine in America RR SCS spec last year here).
The F3 RR Ottantesimo includes an Akrapovič exhaust, raising its output to 152 hp, and adds a CNC-machined fuel cap and pillion seat cover. The Superveloce S Ottantesimo, with an Arrow exhaust, now produces 150 bhp.
The Brutale 1000 and Brutale 1000 RR Ottantesimo models benefit from a revised 1000cc inline-four engine with a new ECU, enhanced fuel maps, updated camshafts, a 50 percent lighter clutch, and a new Arrow exhaust system. These changes improve mid-range performance from 3500 to 9500 rpm, with a claimed increase of 14 ft-lb and 14 hp.
The Brutale remains the base model, while the RR variant adds Öhlins semi-active suspension and carbon components.
