Jared Mees, Harley-Davidson Team Up for Route 66 Centennial Ride to Springfield Mile

American Flat Track fans can make the journey to the Springfield Mile with a Route 66 Centennial ride organized by Jared Mees in partnership with Harley-Davidson.

Daytona Beach, FL (August 18, 2026) – Progressive American Flat Track fans can make the journey to the legendary Springfield Mile part of the race-day experience on Saturday, September 5, with a special Route 66 Centennial certified ride created and organized by 10x Grand National Champion and Springfield Mile promoter Jared Mees in partnership with Harley-Davidson.

The one-day-only ride will depart from Conrad’s Harley-Davidson and take participants along Route 66 on their way to the Illinois State Fairgrounds for the Springfield Mile.

Participation in the ride is free, with the purchase of a Springfield Mile event ticket required. The first 75 participants to register will also receive an exclusive event T-shirt.

The ride is an officially certified Route 66 Centennial event, helping celebrate 100 years of one of America’s most iconic highways while bringing motorcycle enthusiasts together for a journey to one of the most historic events in Progressive American Flat Track.

The September 5 Springfield Mile will provide the destination for the ride and a full day of Progressive AFT action at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Fans looking to elevate their race-day experience can also take advantage of the available Harley-Davidson VIP Experience package in addition to standard event ticket options.
