Here’s what it says:

Help Kevin Wing Recover After Tragic Motorcycle Accident

On Sunday, August 9, our friend and renowned motorsports photographer, Kevin Wing, was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident while covering and photographing an organized tour in Ireland. He has been in ICU in Ireland, recently released from life support, undergoing treatment for a traumatic brain injury and multiple leg fractures. Kevin’s wife, son and daughter are at his side.

Kevin is strong and showing signs of improvement but has been in and out of consciousness since the accident. Despite wearing a helmet, his brain injury is severe. Recovery will likely require specialized care for a prolonged unknown amount of time, both in hospital in Ireland and after he is able to return to a hospital in the States.

As you might imagine, the cost of Kevin’s treatment, need for special medical air transportation and ongoing care is certain to be astronomical and put a tremendous burden on the family. If you are able, we humbly ask for your support. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help ease the financial burden so Kevin and his family can focus on his recovery. Even if you are unable to donate, we ask everyone to share this fundraiser and keep Kevin in your thoughts and prayers.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity during this incredibly difficult time. Kevin is not only one of the best photographers in all of motorsports, he is also a highly skilled street and dirt rider with decades of riding experience, which makes this accident all the more unthinkable. Help us do all we can to get Kevin back behind a camera, making us all look like heroes in photos and videos. To know Kevin is to appreciate his incredible talent, witty personality, the laughter and good times he always creates and enjoys with family, friends and colleagues and his deep love of life.

This fundraiser was organized by Kevin’s longtime friend and editor, Mark Tuttle, with help from his friends and family, for the direct benefit of Kevin, his wife and kids.
