This is a press release from MotoAmerica…
Costa Mesa, CA (April 10, 2015) – MotoAmerica, the new home of AMA Superbike racing, has announced that Roswell Bicycles will be providing technical support to the MotoAmerica Bicycle Challenge on Friday, April 17 at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia. A support crew, complete with a mechanic, team car and wheel support, will be available for participants. Several Scott bicycles will also be available for demonstration rides on the twists and turns of the 12-turn road course.
“As we are a sponsor of the Next Moto Champion Cycling Club, which is made up of all motorcycle racers, it is only natural that we would support this event,” said Roswell Bicycles owner Todd Kaib. “It gives the local cycling community a chance to ride their bikes at a cool venue and ride alongside club members Garrett Gerloff and JD Beach of the Yamalube/Y.E.S./Graves/Yamaha race team and Geoff May of Yamalube/Westby Racing. “Danielle Teal, from the Next Moto Champion talk show, will also be on hand to meet and greet all of the riders and I am told that Roger Hayden and Jake Lewis from the Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Superbike team will be there as well. We are excited to be a part of a new event and hope that the cycling community will take this opportunity to ride at an awesome venue.”
The ride will get started at 5 p.m. on Friday, April 17 following the first day of practice for the Honda Superbike Challenge of Road Atlanta. All you need to bring is your bicycle, helmet and a $20 donation that will be made on your behalf to Georgia Bikes, a statewide cycling advocacy group.
