Big news out of the Triumph camp as Jalek Swoll announced he’ll be sitting out for the remainder of the 2025 SuperMotocross season. The #22 rider says he tore his calf muscle during qualifying at the Ironman round of Pro Motocross but still finished 10th in the first 250MX moto.

Jalek Swoll announced he’ll miss the remaining rounds of the 2025 season due to a torn calf muscle.

“This isn’t the news that I wanted to be sharing, but at Ironman I tore my calf muscle without even crashing,” Swoll said. “I’ve also been riding injured since Southwick as I tore a ligament in my thumb there, and I’ve not been able to ride during the week. So, with this new injury, the team and I decided it’s best for me to sit out the remainder of the season. It’s not ideal of course, but my body has been through a lot over the last year or so. It was a collective effort with the whole team to get back to racing this summer after my Achilles injury, and once I was back, I showed some good speed. Getting on the podium at RedBud was huge for me and the team, and it’s unfortunate that my season has ended this way. Overall, though, I’m proud of what I’ve achieved this year despite not racing a lot, and I’m confident and super excited for the 2026 season.”

His best finish came at RedBud where 6-3 scores earned his second overall.

Swoll already missed a majority of the year with a torn achilles in the offseason before Supercross and now the torn calf along with a torn UCL in his thumb halt any further progress. He currently sits 18th in the 250MX series points with a best finish of 6-3 for second overall coming at RedBud.

Swoll is already signed to the Triumph team for 2026 and looks to return at 100% health.

“Jalek has unfortunately sustained a calf muscle injury,” said team manager Jeremy Coker. “While the good part is that it doesn’t require surgery, it is unfortunately one of those things that just takes time. With that being said, the team and Jalek have decided it is best for him to sit out the rest of the year and focus on being 100% for the 2026 season. Jalek had just started to show his true potential, and I am absolutely gutted for him. I do know that he will put his best foot forward and come back even stronger in 2026.”
