Arlington, Texas (February 14, 2015) – RCH/Soaring Eagle/Jimmy Johns/Suzuki’s Ken Roczen edged GEICO Honda’s Eli Tomac by just over two-tenths of a second to take the top qualifying spot in the 450 class in preparation for tonight’s round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series in Arlington, Texas.

Roczen currently sits second in the series standings, seven points behind Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey, and the former MX2 world champ wants nothing more than to close the gap. Meanwhile, Dungey was fourth fastest in qualifying behind Team Honda’s Trey Canard.

Canard’s Honda teammate Cole Seely rounded out the top five in qualifying, turning a fastest time that was just over a tenth faster than Rockstar Energy Factory Husqvarna Racing’s Jason Anderson.

Blake Baggett came in with the seventh fastest time, finishing ahead of Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Davi Millsaps and AutoTrader.com/Toyota/JGR Yamaha’s Weston Peick, who was making his return to the series after missing a few rounds due to a foot injury.

Chad Reed rounded out the top 10 on his TwoTwo Motorsports Kawasaki, beating out BTO Sports Andrew Short by less than a tick of the clock.

Tonight’s racing gets underway with opening ceremonies at 7:00 Central time.
