Trey Canard Joins Fox Racing

Well this is a move we did not see coming. After spending most of his career in Fly Racing threads, Trey Canard makes the switch over to Fox Racing. The Honda HRC test rider is just as fast as ever and we spotted the former 250SX and 250MX champion at Glen Helen Raceway yesterday shaking down the race-spec 2027 Honda CRF250R-WE.

We spotted Trey Canard wearing head to toe Fox Racing gear earlier this week.

The Oklahoma native is actually returning to Fox gear as he previously raced in No Fear gear during his rookie season in 2008 where he won the 250SX East championship over Ryan Villopoto. The then-named Torco Honda team made the switch to Fox Racing gear in 2009 when the team officially became Geico Honda. Canard later won the 2010 250 Pro Motocross title in Fox gear before switching to Fly Racing in 2011 for his full-time 450 debut. He remained with Fly and the WPS group for the duration of his 450 career. We have yet to hear any formal announcement from Fox or Canard regarding the new partnership.
