It’s pretty much business as usual for the 30-plus American riders set to compete in the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) in San Juan, Argentina, which will get underway on Monday, November 3, and run through Saturday, November 8.

Unsurprisingly, the container housing the team’s motorcycles and supplies was delayed in customs for a while, but it has arrived (last night) and riders were able to crack into it early this morning. While waiting for the container, the riders got their paperwork over with by signing up and going through the usual administration process. They also got the chance to walk some of the special tests. Now it’s time to assemble the bikes and get them ready for tech inspection before having to impound them. Impound begins at noon tomorrow for the U.S. team.

American World Trophy Team rider Taylor Robert Tweeted that most of the special test sections “look very similar to the Arizona desert.” Some of the riders are saying that the terrain is very dry and that many of the special tests are “pretty gnarly.” Rocks, sand, hillclimbs and warm temperatures are sure to put every rider through the wringer this year.
