Jarrett Again At Muddy OMA National

Jimmy Jarrett continued his win streak in the Parts Unlimited Off-road Motorcycle and ATV Nationals by taking the win at the Motion Pro Hoosier Grand Prix, round three of the series held in Judah, Indiana.

Things didn’t look good for Jarrett during the early going as AmPro Yamaha’s Charlie Mullins owned a seemingly comfortable lead which he had held since the first lap and showed no sign of weakness over the muddy and challenging course.

But Jarrett got a break two laps from the end when Mullins dove into a hole and couldn’t extract his YZ250 before a surprised Jarrett rode past on his Andrews Cycles RM250, and from there, the two-time and reigning series champ put his head down and tried to gap the series visitor. Despite falling down on the final lap, Jarrett managed to finish in front, completing eight tough laps in two hours, 40 minutes and 27 seconds. Mullins was second in 2:41:26 while New Zealand’s Paul Whibley rounded out the top three in 2:47:06 on his Summers Honda CRF450R

Justin Williamson ran right behind Mullins in the early going but would slide back to fourth on his Williamsonracing.com YZ250 in 2:47:21, while Jeff Cregg came from behind on his Moose RM250 to finish fifth in 3:01:18, the final racer to complete eight laps.
