WorldSBK Race Two
2026 season phenomenon Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.It Racing – Ducati) took another clear win in the WorldSBK category, beating his team-mate Iker Lecuona by 5.420 seconds this time around. This was his 26th win in the 27 races of the season.
Third place went to Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team), who was almost ten seconds down at the flag after not quite a full final Magny Cours race. The start was late by five minutes after the earlier WorldSSP red flag delay, and the final main event was itself red flagged after Tommy Bridewell crashed, and called after 19 laps for the winner Bulega.
Off podium, Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati) was fourth, albeit riding without a left winglet for much of the contest.
Alberto Surra (Motocorsa Racing Ducati) was fifth and thanks to a fighting performance from the former double champion, Alvaro Bautista (Barni Spark Racing Team) placed sixth.
A run of six Ducatis was guaranteed by a fall for Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) on lap 11, making the first non-Panigale across the finish line the Ninja ZX-10RR of Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) in seventh place.
He eventually headed up a three rider group, with Xavi Vierge (Pata Maxus Yamaha) right behind and Axel Bassani (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) in ninth position.
Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) took the final place inside the top ten on his R1.
Miguel Oliveira (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) was 15th and last.
In the championship standings, Bulega has 553 points, Lecuona 407, Montella 247 and Alex Lowes 201.

WorldSBP Race Two
Xavi Artigas (MTM Kawasaki) won the second French race in the WorldSPB class, from the Yamaha of Carter Thompson (Team BrCorse Yamaha) and the Triumph of Race One winner, Fenton Seabright (PHR Performance Triumph).
Championship leader David Salvador (ProDina Kawasaki) was fourth, as the middle rider in a seven rider leading group.
Jose Osuna (Deza-Box 77 Racing Team) was fifth, Loris Veneman (MTM Kawasaki) sixth and Matteo Vannucci (Revo-M2 Aprilia) seventh.
Harrison Dessoy (PHR Performance Triumph), Jurrien van Crugten (MMR APrilia Factory) was ninth and the top ten was rounded out by Elia Bartolini (CM Triumph Factory Racing).
In the championship points, Salvador leads with 197 points, Artigas is second with 167, Torres is third with 146 and Thompson fourth with 122.

WorldSSP Race Two
After a crash from Tom Booth-Amos (Triumph Factory Racing) that saw his bike puncture a section of airfence, a red flag was shown with eight laps to go in the first start to the final WorldSSP race in France.
A five lap restart – effectively half a ‘Sprint’ race – was the real Race Two, saw a hard core of five leading riders fight for the podium places in the earliest stages, with two more joining in with two laps to go.
Can Öncü (Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing) looked like he would win the race but he ran wide out of the final right hander at the bottom of the hill, and he was passed by three riders before the flag.
Spaniard Roberto Garcia (GMT94-YAMAHA) won for his French team, Albert Arenas (AS Racing Yamaha) was second and Valentin Debise (ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing) third.
This was a first WorldSSP win for Garcia.
With Öncü fourth, Jeremy Alcoba (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team) placed fifth, with Filippo Farioli (VFT Racing Team Yamaha) sixth and Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing Verdnatura Ducati) seventh.
Federico Caricasulo (ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing) took the second ZXMOTO triple to eight, having overhauled Aldi Satya Mahendra (AS Racing Yamaha) and tenth placed Lucas Mahias (GMT94-YAMAHA).
In the championship, Arenas’ determination despite injuring his hand in the first race crash on Saturday, sees him extend his lead over Debise, with Arenas on 311, Debise on 241 and Öncü on 216.

WorldSBK Superpole Race
In winning his 25th race of the season Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.It Racing – Ducati) took another step closer to the status of 2026 World Champion, as he finished just over two seconds up on his team-mate Iker Lecuona in thre ten-lap SUperpole Race. The usual exciting early battles between the top two Ducati riders ended after Lecuona ran wide in the infield chicane section.
Third place could have gone to Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) but he fell on the final lap. That gave third place to Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team), who finished riding alone.
Alberto Surra (Motocorsa Racing Ducati) equalled his best rookie season result of fourth place, holding off the push of even the factory bimota of Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team). Sixth place went to big Saturday faller, Tommy Bridewell (Superbike Advocates Ducati).
Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati) placed seventh, making it six Ducatis inside the top seven places.
After some other riders, like Alvaro Bautista (Barni Spark Racing Team) and Jake Dixon (Honda HRC) had run wide and lost places, there was a trio if Yamaha riders completing the last few finishing positions inside the top ten.
Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) made a late and tough charge on Xavi Vierge (Pata Maxus Yamaha) to make sure of eighth place, with an off-line Vierge ninth, but only just ahead of Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha).
Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) secured a 13th place finish, one up on the recovering Dixon.
Miguel Oliveira (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) was top BMW rider, in 12th place.

WorldSBK Race One
A crash in the first attempted running of Race One, resulted in a red flag stoppage and a 12-lap restart, during which Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.It Racing – Ducati) beat the lap record on two early occasions to break the tow of his team-mate Iker Lecuona.
Partly thanks to his new lap record pace of 1’35.030, set on the third tour, Bulega won by 3.118 seconds.
Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) followed on from the leading duo to take third place, riding the majority of the race on his own.
Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team) headed up a loose three rider final battle, leaving Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) fifth and Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati) sixth.
Axel Bassani (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) got dropped off the end of a great fight in the midfield and ended up seventh, with Alberto Surra (Motocorsa Racing Ducati), Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) and Xavi Vierge (Pata Maxus Yamaha) completing the top ten.
Miguel Oliveira (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) and several other riders, were unable to make the restart because of crashes in the red flagged ‘race’.
Only 14 riders re-started.
The Magny-Cours opener gave Bulega his 24th win of the season, and his 44th race win in this class, moving ahead of Noriyuki Haga in terms of career race victories.

WorldSSP Race One
Can Öncü (Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing) took his first win of the 2026 season thanks to a race long push in the leading positions that finally delivered the victory over Roberto Garcia (GMT94-YAMAHA) by just 0.107 seconds. This was the Turkish rider’s eighth career win in WorldSSP.
Having to drive his way forward from the first lap to the last, Valentin Debise (ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing) scored a third place that made as much advantage of an early collision between championship leader Albert Arenas (AS Racing Yamaha) and Jeremy Alcoba (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team), at the infamous Adelaide hairpin.
Early leader Lucas Mahias (GMT94-YAMAHA) moved up and down the leading order, and finally took a lone fourth place, putting both French-operated GMT94 machines inside the top four places at home.
Firth was the suddenly improved Federico Caricasulo (ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing), as he headed up a four rider group containing Filippo Farioli (VFT Racing Team Yamaha), Josh Whatley (Orelac Racing Verdnatura), early front-running force as a stand-in for the injured Oli Bayliss, Jorge Navarro (Triumph Factory Racing) in eighth and Aldi Satya Mahendra (AS Racing Yamaha) ninth.
Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing Verdnatura) was tenth.
Tom Booth-Amos (Triumph Factory Racing) set a new lap record of 1’39.868, on lap eight, but finished 25th.

WorldSBP Race One
Another fabulously close-fought WorldSPB race got the season back underway at Magny-Cours, with the championship leader David Salvador (ProDina Kawasaki) initially declared the winner, but a track limits infringement on the final lap saw him dropped to second place. Fenton Seabright (PHR Performance Triumph) thus took his first win in this new category.
Salvador’s second place held his team-mate Antonio Torres (ProDina Kawasaki) in third.
It was a highly rewarding contest for the Kawasaki teams in general, with Xavi Artigas (MTM Kawasaki) and Loris Veneman (MTM Kawasaki) fourth and fifth, respectively. The top five riders finished within the same second.
Ferre Fleerackers (Track & Trades Wixx Racing Suzuki) was sixth and top Yamaha rider Carter Thompson (Team BrCorse Yamaha), seventh.
Seabright’s team-mate Harrison Dessoy (PHR Performance Triumph) placed eighth, and the top ten was completed by yet another brace of Kawasaki team-mates, Alvaro Fuertes (Deza-Box 77 Racing Team) and Jose Osuna.
In the championship, Salvador has 184 points, Torres 146 and Artigas 142. One more Magny-Cours race to go, on Sunday 6 September, and then two more championship rounds at Cremona and the finale in Jerez.

WorldSBK Superpole
For the ninth time in succession this season, Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.It Racing – Ducati topped the Superpole Qualifying times, as his 1’34.313 lap comprehensively beat the previous record of 1’34.930 by over 0.6 seconds.
In all, four riders, all on Ducatis, beat the previous best time in the Superpole session, when Q tyres were used.
Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) was second quickest and Iker Lecuona (Aruba.It Racing – Ducati) was third.
The first place on row two for the first race at Magny-Cours was taken by Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team), who was just over half a second from Bulega’s new record.
Back from injury suffered at Donington Park last time out, Alberto Surra (Motocorsa Racing Ducati) was fifth, and the first non-Ducati rider home was Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) – despite having a 0.5kg/h fuel flow reduction under the latest balancing rules checkpoint results – in sixth place.
Tommy Bridewell (Superbike Advocates Ducati), finally seventh, had a good Superpole session until he crashed near the end – and the same could be said of eighth placed Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati).
Xavi Vierge (Pata Maxus Yamaha) was first Yamaha rider, ninth in the rankings, with Jake Dixon (Honda HRC) a more than respectable tenth. Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) placed 12th, as the lone Kawasaki rider. Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) was 13th.
An awful Superpole for the ROKiT BMW Motorrad team saw Danilo Petrucci 18th and Miguel Oliveira 19th in a field cut short to 20 riders by injury.

Friday WorldSSP
Not one but two ZXMOTO machines led the field in Superpole Qualifying at Magny Cours, as Valentin Debise (ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing) and Federico Caricasulo (ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing) headed up a list of 33 riders.
With a Frenchman on pole, another local rider joined him on the front row, as Lucas Mahias (GMT94-YAMAHA) edged out his team-mate Roberto Garcia (GMT94-YAMAHA) for third place.
Fifth grid spot went to the lead Kawasaki of Jeremy Alcoba (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team), but an even more impressive display came from stand-in Triumph rider, Jorge Navarro (PTR Triumph Factory Racing) who is replacing the injured Oli Bayliss at this round.
Riding in his home place delivered particularly good pace to local rider Corentin Perolari (Honda Racing World Supersport), who was seventh. Filippo Farioli (VFT Racing Team Yamaha) starts Race One on Saturday from eighth place, with Tom Booth-Amos (PTR Triumph Factory Racing) ninth and championship leader Albert Arenas (AS Racing Yamaha) tenth.

Friday WorldSBK
Nicolo Bulega (Aruba.It Racing – Ducati) placed himself into the leading position on the overnight combined timesheets as he put 0.284 seconds between himself and second-placed Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) after two Free Practice sessions. Iker Lecuona (Aruba.It Racing – Ducati) was third. With most other Yamaha riders struggling, Xavi Vierge (Pata Maxus Yamaha) was fourth overall. Like all the other top four riders, his final position came thanks to his FP1 time.
Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team) placed fifth and Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati) ended Friday in sixth.
Alberto Surra (Motocorsa Racing Ducati) was seventh overall, and was another rider who relied on his morning FP1 time for his final best lap of the opening day,
Miguel Oliveira (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) placed eighth. Garrett Gerloff (Kawasaki WorldSBK Team) was ninth and Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) tenth.
Jake Dixon (Honda HRC) placed 11th, from 21 competing riders, ensuring all six WorldSBK manufacturers were inside the top 11 positions.

Friday WorldSPB
David Salvador (ProDina Kawasaki) secured the Magny-Cours Superpole Qualifying win after a hot and intense day of work at the 4.41km circuit in France.
Loris Veneman (MTM Kawasaki) placed second, some 0.240 seconds behind the yellow Ninja. Two more Kawasaki riders, Xavi Artigas (MTM Kawasaki) and Antonio Torres (ProDina Kawasaki) completed the top four places.
Fenton Seabright (PHR Performance Triumph) went fifth fastest, and the R7 of Carter Thompson (Team BrCorse Yamaha) placed sixth.
Team-mates Alvaro Fuertes (Deza-Box 77 Racing Team) and Jose Osuna (Deza-Box 77 Racing Team) made it a remarkable six Kawasakis inside the top eight places.
Elia Bartolini (CM Triumph Factory Racing) was ninth the first Aprilia home belonged to Matteo Vannucci (Revo-M2 Aprilia). He was tenth in a field of 34 riders.
Ferre Fleerackers (Track & Trades Wixx Racing Suzuki) was the top Suzuki rider in 13th place.
