Yesterday we reported that Jeremy Seewer is set to depart the Kawasaki Racing Team at the conclusion of the 2024 Motocross of Nations in Matterley Basin, England. Well, his new home has been confirmed as Ducati Corse announced Seewer is slated to be one of two full-time riders to race the all-new Desmo450 MX in the 2025 MXGP World Championship. This new two-year deal will carry the Swiss rider through 2026 with the Italian manufacturer. The team’s second rider has yet to be announced.
“Jeremy Seewer will be one of the two official Ducati riders who will take part in the 2025 MXGP World Championship with the Desmo450 MX,” the team announced. “The thirty-year-old Swiss rider, born in Bülach (CH) on 18 July 1994, has signed a two-year agreement (2025 – 2026) with the Borgo Panigale manufacturer.”
The Ducati Corse team has been busy developing their new 450 motocrosser with the guidance of Antonio Cairoli in the Italian National Championship and a one-off appearance in the MXGP World Championship. The team is set to go full-time MXGP in 2025 and is likely headed Stateside in 2026.
