Coldenhoff, Moosdjik Sign With Fantic

Fantic Motors is stepping things up for the 2024 MXGP season with a full factory team in the MXGP, MX2 and EMX Championships. Glenn Coldenhoff and Roan Van de Moosdjik are set to pilot the Fantic XXF 450 under the guidance of team manager Vitaliy Tonkov, with David Braceras and Kay Karssemakers entered in the MX2 division.
While Coldenhoff’s move to Fantic after his time at the Factory Yamaha team seems like a stretch, the Fantic XXF 450 machine is essentially a rebranded Yamaha YZ450F. The number-259 rider is set with a two-year contract, while his MXGP rookie teammate, Van de Moosdjik, makes his 450 debut with a one-year deal.
“After eight great years at Yamaha, I am really happy to start this new chapter with Fantic,” said team owner Louis Vosters. “The motivation, support and shared goals have made me very enthusiastic for the future. I am very happy to continue my relationship with Glenn Coldenhoff, who is an experienced and dedicated rider. Roan van de Moosdijk is one of the most exciting rookie prospects and 2024 is looking great for Fantic and myself. A new brand, new colors and new people have ignited the excitement further.”
Along with their factory motocross team, Fantic also announced it will field factory efforts in enduro and rally racing for 2024.CN
