With more enthusiasts learning to ride, it’s great to see Kawasaki offering a ready-to-ride package that’s geared more towards an entry-level market. With the SE, we imagine these new riders will be thrilled to have protective parts on their ride right from the dealership. The plastics and graphics definitely give the bike a racey motocross look that will certainly stand out in the city and on the trails.
The KLX 230 SE sports an MSRP of $4,999, only $200 more than the standard model. An extra $200 seems like a smart buy for these accessories as buying them individually would likely run a bill much higher. The standard KLX is offered in a bare-bones package and new buyers should flock to this purpose-built dual-sport machine.
