Check Out This Honda CB1000R Freddie Spencer Prototype

Based on the CB1000R, this CB is essentially an aesthetic design exercise and not yet a production bike, but judging from looks so far, we can only hope this makes it to Honda dealers in the very near future. The CB1000R was heavily redesigned in 2018 as part of Honda’s new Neo-Retro line that also included the CB650R, and goes up against bikes like the Kawasaki Z900RS and Suzuki’s recently released Katana.
Honda has precedence with this sort of thing, having used the Wheels and Waves show in Biarritz, France, as a custom build off with some of Europe’s top designers. You can check out those bikes here, some of which are absolutely badass.
