Ryan Villopoto Questionable For MXGP At Valkenswaard

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto is questionable for this weekend’s MXGP of Europe at Valkenswaard, Netherlands with a fractured coccyx (tailbone) suffered from his bizarre crash in the second moto of last weekend’s GP of Trentino. Villopoto will make a decision together with the KRT team staff whether or not to race the fifth round of the FIM World MXGP Motocross Championship this weekend.
“The doctors told him that there is no risk of further injury if he rides his bike, but of course it will be painful,” said KRT team manager François Lemariey via release. “We don’t want to put any pressure; Ryan will do a test and then we’ll take a decision for this weekend.”
