This is a press release from McGraw Powersports…
Menlo Park, CA (March 31, 2015) – Twenty-one-year-old Superbike rider Elena Myers will take questions from motorcycle-racing fans during a takeover of the McGraw Powersports Twitter page on Wednesday, April 8 at 10 a.m. Pacific time.
The live Q&A session happens the day before racing begins at Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX. It’s the first leg of the inaugural MotoAmerica Road Racing Championship, a nine-race series to chase down a national title. Myers will pilot a Suzuki GSX-R1000 in her pursuit of the podium, riding for McGraw Powersports Racing.
It’s been a busy winter for Elena, building a race team and a superbike from scratch. All the hard work will be put to the test in Texas, so she’ll have plenty to talk about as she rolls into Austin just prior to this live event. “I’m really excited to take over the McGraw Twitter page, says Myers. “This gives my fans a great opportunity to ask me just about anything; and the event exposes them to the company that’s backing my program this year. It should be a lot of fun!”
Fans can participate in the action by following McGraw Powersports on Twitter (@McGrawInsurance). Questions can be submitted starting at 9 a.m. Pacific on Wednesday, April 8, using the hashtag #Elena21. Myers will take over the McGraw Powersports page for one hour, starting at 10 a.m. Pacific time.
