Suzuki Shows Off Its MotoGP Bike And Team

  Suzuki showed off its new MotoGP bike at the Intermot show in Germany today.

Suzuki officially announced its 2015 MotoGP team today at the Intermot Show in Cologne, Germany, and also confirmed that it will indeed race the new GSX-RR in the final race of the 2014 season in Valencia, Spain, with test rider Randy de Puniet and the new bike racing as a wild card entry.

And from the old news equals new news department, the team for 2015 will consist of Aleix Espargaro and soon-to-be MotoGP rookie Maverick Vinales. The team will be run by Davide Brivio.

Suzuki last raced in MotoGP in 2011 and development on the new GSX-RR started the following year, according to Suzuki, with “the aim to achieve high performance in the MotoGP class, as well as to give technology feedback to production models such as the GSX-R range.”

The GSX-RR will use a 1000cc in-line four-cylinder powerplant.
