Moto Guzzi has introduced The Trip, a new 500cc roadster that will form part of a new generation of motorcycles from the Italian manufacturer. The Trip will make its public debut at EICMA in Milan, November 5-8, with sales scheduled to begin at Moto Guzzi dealers in early 2027.
The Trip is powered by a new parallel-twin engine producing almost 48 horsepower. Moto Guzzi says the engine is tuned to deliver a broad spread of torque, with an emphasis on low-rpm response and everyday usability.

The Trip weighs a claimed 397 pounds and features a 31-inch seat height. A 3.96-gallon metal gas tank provides the machine with a relatively substantial fuel range for a middleweight roadster.
The Trip uses ride-by-wire throttle control and offers three riding modes: Road, Sport and Rain.
Electronic equipment includes a 3.6-inch circular TFT instrument display with smartphone connectivity, along with backlit handlebar controls and full LED lighting. Integrated pictogram navigation and a quickshifter will be available as accessories.
Styling is based around a relatively simple design with the parallel-twin engine finished in black and exposed beneath the bodywork. The round TFT display and LED headlight provide a contemporary interpretation of Moto Guzzi’s traditional design elements.
The Trip will be offered in three standard colors: Black Metropolis, Green Grove and Red Beat. Moto Guzzi will also offer an Opening special edition to mark the model’s introduction.
The Trip is positioned as an accessible entry point into the Moto Guzzi range while retaining the company’s traditional focus on distinctive styling and engine character. Further details, including U.S. pricing and availability, are expected closer to the motorcycle’s market launch.
