Triumph Motorcycles has unveiled its updated off-road lineup for 2027, including the TF 450-X, TF 250-E and TF 450-E. All three models receive a number of refinements aimed at improving handling, engine performance and overall rider control. With another year of racing experience under its belt, Triumph continues to develop its motocross and enduro machines. Let’s take a look at what’s new for 2027.
There were a few revisions to the TF 450-X model for 2027, including engine mapping.
The TF 450-X enters its second season of Monster Energy AMA Supercross competition and prepares for its MXGP debut with a handful of updates. Revised engine mapping is designed to improve torque delivery and provide a better connection between the throttle and rear wheel. Triumph also refined the engine’s maximum rpm limiter strategy to make the power more manageable throughout the rev range.
Improved durability at high rpm was a focus on the TF 450-X.
Internally, the 450-X receives updated cylinder head components aimed at improving durability and reliability, especially at higher rpm. A new clutch pack and revisions to the gearbox are also designed to provide smoother engagement and more precise shifting. Triumph changed the final drive to a 50-tooth rear sprocket, which should help improve acceleration and drive out of corners.
Updated suspension settings and tool-free adjusters.
Suspension updates are another focus for 2027. The TF 450-X retains its KYB suspension but receives revised settings along with new tool-free adjusters. These changes are intended to improve rider feedback and overall control while making adjustments easier at the track. The bike also comes standard with a number of premium race-ready components and electronic rider aids.
Suspension was also a focus on the TF 250-E and TF 450-E.
As for the enduro models, both the TF 250-E and TF 450-E receive updated KYB suspension settings and new tool-free adjustability. The 250-E also gets revised Neken triple clamps designed to further improve front-end handling and feel. These updates are aimed at giving riders more control and a more predictable feel across changing off-road conditions.
The bikes come out the box with premium components such as the Akrapovič system.
The enduro machines also receive powertrain refinements focused on improving shifting and overall control. Both models continue to come equipped with premium components including Brembo brakes, Galfer products and ProTaper handlebars. Triumph’s electronic rider technology also remains standard on the two bikes.
Ready to ride, the new Triumph models are here to make a statement.
All three models get a fresh look for 2027 with new all-black bodywork and updated graphics. The TF 450-X adds Triumph Racing Yellow accents to complete its new appearance. The updates come after a successful year of international competition for Triumph’s off-road program, which recorded 15 victories and 62 podium finishes during the 2026 racing season.
