Ducati is adding a more track-focused model to its naked sportbike range with the introduction of the $39,995 MSRP 2027 Streetfighter V4 SP, unveiled at EICMA 2026 in Milan, Italy. The numbered special edition builds on the Streetfighter V4 platform, incorporating carbon-fiber wheels, a dry clutch, upgraded braking components and electronically controlled Öhlins suspension.

Power comes from Ducati’s 1103cc Desmosedici Stradale 90-degree V4 engine, producing a claimed 214 horsepower at 13,500 rpm and 88.5 lb-ft of torque. The counter-rotating crankshaft and Desmodromic valve system are retained, while an STM EVO-SBK dry clutch replaces the conventional wet clutch. The six-speed gearbox is equipped with Ducati Quick Shift 2.0, and final drive uses a racing-derived 520 chain.
One of the major differences over the standard Streetfighter V4 S is the use of five-spoke carbon-fiber wheels. Ducati claims they reduce weight by approximately 2.1 pounds compared with the forged aluminum wheels, helping reduce rotational and unsprung mass. The motorcycle also receives a dedicated racing final-drive package and adjustable machined-aluminum footpegs.
Suspension is handled by Öhlins NIX30 inverted forks and a TTX36 rear shock, both controlled electronically through the latest Smart EC 3.0 system. Braking hardware includes Brembo Hypure monobloc calipers and a Brembo MCS radial master cylinder with three-position adjustment.
The electronics package incorporates Ducati’s six-axis inertial measurement unit and Vehicle Observer technology, supporting traction control, slide control, wheelie control, engine-brake management and cornering ABS. Four riding modes and four power modes are available.
Visually, the SP receives Ducati’s Winter Test livery, combining matte black bodywork, exposed brushed-aluminum fuel tank surfaces, red detailing and carbon-fiber aerodynamic wings. Each motorcycle carries an individual production number engraved on the handlebar.
U.S. availability is still to be determined.
