Chase Sexton is out for this weekend’s round three of the 2026 Pro Motocross Championship at Thunder Valley Motocross in Lakewood, Colorado. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider took a big crash during Friday’s press day riding session and sustained injuries that prevent him from racing on Saturday.

“Chase Sexton will miss Round 3 of Pro Motocross due to injuries sustained in a crash during Friday’s riding session,” the team announced on Friday afternoon.

“Well, not a great day,” Sexton added. “Knee feels cooked but will get it checked out when I get home. Incident was out of my control and feeling like a passenger was very scary I’m just very lucky to be somewhat okay and the man up above was looking over me.”
