The Rattlesnake National Enduro, round  seven of the American National Enduro Championship (ANEC), is canceled.

Here is the statement ANEC posted on its social media pages:

The Rattlesnake National Enduro will unfortunately no longer be able to take place as originally planned. Earlier today, we were informed by the DCNR that approval for the event within the state forest had been canceled, making it impossible for us to move forward with the round at that location.

This development happened very quickly and was not something we anticipated. We initially held off on making an announcement while we explored every possible option, including rescheduling the event, relocating to a new venue, or replacing the round on the schedule. As information has now started to circulate publicly, we wanted our riders, teams, sponsors, and fans to hear directly from us first.

The Rattlesnake National Enduro has become one of our favorite races of the year, and we know this news is just as disappointing for the BER club, who put an incredible amount of work and passion into this event that serves as their main fundraiser for the year.

We appreciate everyone’s patience, understanding, and continued support as we work through possible next steps. More information will be shared as soon as it becomes available.

Thank you for being part of the American National Enduro Championship.

The National Enduro Promoters Group (NEPG) has a new name: the American National Enduro Championship (ANEC).

“This rebrand represents more than a new name,” says the ANEC, which will be run with the same group of people. “It reflects the speed, skill and grit that define off-road racing in the United States, and the direction we are taking the sport moving forward.

“ANEC was created to better represent the national scale of the series and the growth we are committed to delivering. The rebrand strengthens our focus on elevating professional enduro racing while continuing to honor the tradition that riders and fans have supported for decades.

“ANEC will continue to bring the same trusted race format and high-quality events riders expect, now supported by a stronger brand identity, expanded media coverage, and a wider presence across national markets.

“We are proud to step into this new chapter.”CN
