WorldSBK Race Two
Nicolo Bulega (Aruba. It Racing – Ducati) once again showed his true class and pace to win his third WorldSBK race at Assen, and take his ninth straight race win of the 2026 season.
Iker Lecuona (Aruba. It Racing – Ducati) pushed on once again but had to accept another second place finish.

Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) kept his consistent Assen podium run going to end up third in the final Assen contest.
Alvaro Bautista (Barni Spark Racing Team) once again took a fourth place finish, but this time he had his own team-mate Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team) for relatively close company – just under one second behind.
Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati) had to come from behind to take sixth place, making it an all Ducati top six. Top Yamaha rider in Race Two was Xavi Vierge (Pata Maxus Yamaha).
Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) was finally eighth, Danilo Petrucci (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) ninth and Tarran Mackenzie (MGM Optical Express Racing) tenth.
A super-tough Race Two for bimota saw Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) for from fourth place to 11th at the flag, and his team-mate Axel Bassani 13th.
In the championship points, Bulega now has 186, Lecuona 117, Sam Lowes 82, with Alex Lowes and Miguel Oliveira (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) tied on 69.

WorldSBK Superpole Race
In short or long races, this year’s red hot championship favorite Nicolo Bulega (Aruba. It Racing – Ducati) is proving that he and the new Ducati are almost imperious in their domination.

An eventual victory margin of 1.742 seconds, from his own team mate Iker Lecuona, was clear enough under grey skies and with some splashes of rain evident on the TV camera lenses.
Third was Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) on another V4-R.
Alvaro Bautista (Barni Spark Racing Team) got the better of a real fight with the bimota of Alex Lowes, taking fourth place overall.
The top Yamaha rider this time around was Xavi Vierge (Pata Maxus Yamaha) in sixth place, with Danilo Petrucci (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) seventh and Yari Montella (Barni Spark Racing Team) only just held back in eighth place after a true fight out of the final chicane.
Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) and Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) completed the top ten.

WorldSSP Race Two
It has taken some time for Philipp Öttl (Feel Racing WorldSSP Team Ducati) to win his first WorldSSP race but he did it in some style, despite Race Two being stopped on lap 12, after a red flag was thrown due to a crash at T5.
Öttl was almost 0.5 seconds ahead when the red flag came out, which in a race with five official changes of the lead was an age, in what was a really entertaining and close fight from the first lap to the premature end.

Second place was earned by early leader Albert Arenas (AS Racing Yamaha), with another occasional race leader, Can Öncü (Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing), in third place.
A highly combative Tom Booth-Amos (Triumph Factory Racing) worked his way to fourth, with single lap leader Alessandro Zaccone (Ecosantagata Althea Racing Team) fifth.
Continuing championship leader Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing Verdnatura)
was sixth, and two seconds down on the winner.
Valentin Debise (ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing) placed seventh, just holding off the forward progress shown by top Kawasaki man, Jeremy Alcoba (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team).
One time Race Two podium contender Mattia Casadei (D34G WorldSSP Racing Team) was ninth and Lucas Mahias (GMT94-YAMAHA) completed a frenetic top ten.
Oli Bayliss (Triumph Factory Racing) fell early in the race.
In the championship rankings, after six individual races, Masia has 106 points, Arenas 105, Öttl 79, Debise 72, Mahias 54 and Öncü 52.

It was Fleerackers first win in this new class of racing, and the second for Suzuki after his team-mate won on Saturday.
Race One winner Jeffrey Buis (Track and Trades Wixx Suzuki) was third, followed by the first Kawasaki of David Salvador in fourth place, Kas Beekmans on another Suzuki fifth and another Kawasaki, the top MTM Kawasaki bike, belonging to Xavi Artigas.
Top Triumph rider was Bruno Ieraci, who finished seventh.
In the championship, Salvador leads Buis by five points, with Fleerackers third and Artigas fourth.

WorldWCR Race Two
Race One’s top two riders Maria Herrera (Terra & Vita GRT Yamaha WorldWCR) and Beatriz Neila (Ampito Crescent Yamaha) made a break from the rest once again, with an initial six rider fight developing behind.
The final push for the win would see Neila take her first race victory of the year, by just 0.170 seconds, from Herrera.

She cut the championship advantage of Herrera to 13 points with her bold inside pass at the Gert Timmer right hander, as she now sits in second place overall.
Lucie Boudesseul (GMT94 Yamaha) made a break from the second group to be five seconds back from the lead after six laps, but setting easily the fastest laps of the race at the midpoint. As the rains showed up a little heavier than before, she made her initial forward move, but she ended up almost ten seconds behind at the flag, albeit in happy podium position of third.
Roberta Ponziani (Klint Racing Team) ended up at the head of a chasing group, which grew in size towards the end.
Fifth was new rider in the class this year, Muklada Sarapuech (EEST NUT Racing) with Chloe Jones (Monster Energy Crescent) sixth, Yvonne Cerpa (MotosCerpa-Gradara Corse) seventh and the battling Tayla Relph (Full Throttle Racing) eight, despite her heavy Race One crash on Saturday.
Pakita Ruiz (PR46+1 Racing Team) and American rider Mallory Dobbs (YVS Sabadell Diva Racing) completed the top ten.

WorldSBK Race One
It took the appearance of raindrops and the white flag to indicate a drop in track adhesion to spark the first 21-lap WorldSBK race of the Assen weekend into competitive life, just around two-thirds race distance.
After the lead trio of Nicolo Bulega (Aruba. It Racing – Ducati), Iker Lecuona (Aruba. It Racing – Ducati) and Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) had settled into their own pace ahead of the rest, the race looked done and lightly dusted from then on.

Very light but definite rains suddenly saw Lecuona push harder than his team-mate, passing for the lead until Bulega re-asserted himself as the risk factor abated as soon as the rain clouds passed and track conditions began to improve.
The finishing order on the Race One podium was Bulega, Lecuona and Sam Lowes, while an eventually clear fourth place went to Alvaro Bautista (Barni Spark Racing Team).
Behind him, order was more disordered.
Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) survived a collision with Bautista on the main straight to finish fifth, even though his bimota lost its right hand winglet.
He had a lonely race for fifth place, but behind a veritable freight train of rider passes and re-passes saw the greatly improved Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) sixth, from Miguel Oliveira (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team), Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati), Tarran Mackenzie (MGM Optical Express Racing) and tenth placed Xavi Vierge (Pata Maxus Yamaha).
Danilo Petrucci (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) almost crashed as he served one of his two long-lap penalties, finishing up 18th.

WorldSBK Superpole
After taking another Superpole Qualifying ‘win’ Nicolo Bulega (Aruba. It Racing – Ducati) fell on the entry to T1, without injury, leaving his team a lot of work to do before the start of Race One.

A long 0.329 seconds behind, top Independent rider Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) was second quickest in Superpole, with the second official Ducati of Iker Lecuona third.
After a Ducati top three lock-out, a cosmopolitan second row was headed by Danilo Petrucci (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team), followed by Xavi Vierge (Pata Maxus Yamaha) and Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team).
Alvaro Bautista (Barni Spark Racing Team), Andrea Locatelli (Pata Maxus Yamaha) and Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati) filled the third row, with Remy Gardner (GYTR GRT Yamaha WorldSBK Team) tenth.
Former BSB Champion Tommy Bridewell (Superbike Advocates Ducati) was a strong 11th, with Miguel Oliveira (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) 13th.

WorldWCR Race One
A red flag incident that saw Tayla Relph (Full Throttle Racing) and three other riders involved finally brought about a restarted Race One, over eight laps, not the planned 12.

An eventual head-to-head battle between Maria Herrera (Terra & Vita GRT) and Beatriz Neila (Ampito Crescent Yamaha) was won by Herrera after a late move into the chicane on the final lap. The margin of victory was just 0.083 seconds.
After a subsequent last chicane incident that saw Ramos crash out, and take other riders with her, Roberta Ponziani (Klint Racing Team) was third, leaving Chloe Jones (Monster Energy Crescent) in fourth place and new rider for 2026, Muklada Sarapuech (EEST NUT Racing), fifth.
Natalia Rivera (Terra & Vita GRT Yamaha) was sixth, three seconds ahead of Astrid Madrigal (Pons Italika Racing FIMLA), and 13 seconds up on eighth placed Karolina Danak (Yamaha AD78 FIMLA).
After ignoring a double long lap penalty Yvonne Cerpa (MotosCerpa-Gradara Corse) was penalised with a 37 lap addition to her race time, taking her to 17th place.
One more race to go at Assen, with Herrera 18 points ahead of second placed Neila in the championship rankings.

The top seven riders were covered by just 0.872 seconds after 12 laps.
The final podium place went to another Kawasaki rider, David Salvador (Team Prodina Kawasaki XCI).
Matteo Vannucci (Revo-2 Aprilia) placed fourth, with the top Triumph Daytona 660 of Bruno Leraci in sixth place.

WorldSSP Race One
The honors in an incredibly busy and unpredictable 18-lap WorldSSP Race One at Assen went to championship leader Jaume Masia (Orelac Racing Verdnatura) but it could have been any one of six or seven riders, in truth.

With five laps to go, a contact between Tom Booth-Amos (Triumph Factory Racing) and Can Öncü (Pata Yamaha Ten Kate Racing) caused both to run wide entering the chicane, dropping them off the leading group.
Booth-Amos was penalized with losing one track position, but he got it back again and more by the end, finishing third after an audacious final pass into the chicane, just behind Albert Arenas (AS Racing Yamaha) and just ahead of Valentin Debise (ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing).
Debise had finished third across the line but had to take to the green pain on the inside of the final corner exit, and he dropped from third to fourth after a mandatory penalty.
Pole man and podium prospect Lucas Mahias (GMT94-YAMAHA) was eventually fifth. He was just 0.4 seconds ahead of the leader of the second group of riders for most of the race, Dominique Aegerter (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team).
That warring faction finally caught up due to all the dramas in the leading group, allowing Aegerter, Philipp Öttl (Feel Racing WorldSSP Team Ducati), Jeremy Alcoba (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team), Alessandro Zaccone (Ecosantagata Althea Racing Team) and finally tenth placed Öncü to finish within two seconds of Masia.

Third-year WorldWCR rider Tayla Relph (Full Throttle Racing) was fourth, and the last rider inside the same second as pole rider Herrera.

The WorldSSP300 replacement category, World Sportbike (WorldSPB), got off to a close start at Portimao a few weeks ago, and it carried on in the same fashion at Assen at the beginning of round two.

Xavi Artigas was third fastest, 0.217 from Veneman.
Kas Beekmans, David Salvador and Ferre Fleerackers completed a top six that saw a Kawasaki, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Suzuki order lead the rest of the field. The first non-Japanese bike was the Triumph Daytona 660 of British rider, Fenton Seabright, in seventh place.

Old WorldSSP stager and proven World Champion Lucas Mahias (GMT94-YAMAHA) took a very closely-contested pole position at Assen, in readiness for the two races on Saturday and Sunday.
The French rider was just 0.071 seconds ahead of double race winner at Portimao, Valentin Debise (ZXMOTO Factory Evan Bros Racing) and just 0.082 seconds up on third place rider, Albert Arenas (AS Racing Yamaha).

Tom Booth-Amos (Triumph Factory Racing) was a fine fourth, after going through some tough periods at the start of 2026.

Returning former double WorldSSP Champion, Dominique Aegerter (Kawasaki WorldSSP Team) showed an improved pace compared to the opening two rounds with 11th in Superpole, becoming the first Kawasaki rider on the Assen grid in the process. The QJMOTOR effort overcame its recent homologation woes to come back into race action, with Marco Ramirez the best placed rider in 13th – just 0.735 seconds from Mahias.

A dry opening day at Assen saw the old track in the north of Europe largely dominated by V4 machines from the south of Europe, until a late blast to overall fourth place from Danilo Petrucci (ROKiT BMW Motorrad WorldSBK Team) broke up the desmo party.

After two Free Practice sessions championship leader Nicolo Bulega (Aruba. It Racing – Ducati) was 0.276 seconds faster than Lorenzo Baldassarri (Team GoEleven Ducati), after the Independent Rider’s late run saw him squeeze ahead of Iker Lecuona (Aruba. It Racing – Ducati).
With Petrucci fourth, a late jump up the order from Xavi Vierge (Pata Maxus Yamaha) placed him fifth, displacing Sam Lowes (ELF Marc VDS Racing Team Ducati) to sixth.
Alex Lowes (bimota by Kawasaki Racing Team) was top bimota rider, in seventh position, with the Barni Spark Ducati duo, Alvaro Bautista and Yari Montella, eighth and ninth overall.
Just to put a seventh Ducati inside the top ten places, Alberto Surra (Motocorsa Racing Ducati) had a strong showing in tenth place.
