The 2026 Monster Energy SuperMotocross World Championship invades Cleveland, Ohio for the first time in 30 years for round 14 of this year’s campaign. Tonight’s race features a Triple Crown format for both the 250 and 450 divisions as the points continue to remain close. Here’s all the action from today’s racing!
Ken Roczen and Nate Thrasher ended the night with their overall wins, gaining crucial ground in the championship hunt.

450SX
Ken Roczen claimed the overall win in the 450SX division. Race one saw the Suzuki rider take a safe second place to points leader Hunter Lawrence after Roczen struggled to get around Justin Cooper in the opening laps. This allowed Lawrence to get away with the early lead as Roczen settled into the second spot. Race two again saw Roczen slide into second as Justin Cooper fired back with a big win. This put the two tied in overall points heading into the final race. Roczen answered the call with a crucial holeshot and led every lap of race three, giving him the lowest score of the night. He claimed the overall win with five overall points (2-2-1), six points better than seconds place Cooper Webb’s 11. More importantly, he gained massive ground in the championship hunt and now sits just one point down from Hunter Lawrence.

Cooper Webb earned second overall for the second week in a row. Webb was one to watch from the get go this morning with good pace and a fast qualifying time. He found himself in the fight and only got better as the night wore on. A fifth in race one saw him gain ground after Prado’s mistake before backing it up with a fourth and later a second. Webb’s finish in race three saw his best result in the worst track conditions with his final points putting him tied with teammate Justin Cooper. The better finish for Webb in race three gave him the tie breaker for the night and moves him closer to third in the overall championship.

Justin Cooper finished third on the night, tying in points with his teammate Cooper Webb. Cooper had speed all night and ran up front with the all of the title contenders. He showed his true potential in race two with a win over Ken Roczen, proving to be the highlight of his night. J Coop entered the final race tied in points with Roczen but the muddy track conditions did him no favors as he salvaged a seventh.

Chase Sexton (7-3-4) and Joey Savatgy (6-5-6) used consistent scores to take fourth and fifth respectively at the end of the night.

Hunter Lawrence finished outside the top five after a terrible race three. The points leader kicked off the night with a dominant win but ended up fifth in race two as the rains began to fall. Race three saw the Honda HRC rider crash multiple times before finally crossing the line in 14th position. He continues to lead the 450SX points by only one over Ken Roczen.

250SX

Nate Thrasher continued his momentum with the his first win of the 2026 season. Its been a long time coming as Thrasher has won at least one race per year since he turned pro, but has yet to deliver in the new year. He looked fast from the start of the night as he held off teammate Cole Davies for most of the first race before eventually succumbing to Seth Hammaker and finishing second. He backed that up with a win in race two which put him safely in control for the overall win. A fourth in the final main of the night still gave the Star Racing Yamaha rider the overall win with the lowest score of seven total points.

Thrasher’s Yamaha teammate Landen Gordon finished second overall in his second professional Supercross race. The young rookie qualified inside the top five and only got better as the night progressed. He finished fourth in race one and backed that up with a second behind Thrasher in race two. Gordon must’ve thought it was another day at the Star Racing farm as he followed his other teammate Cole Davies in for another second in the final race of the night. 4-2-2 put the rookie second on the box.

Davies salvaged third overall with a win in the final race of the night. In fact, he tied in points to title rival Seth Hammaker, but his better position in race three earned him the tie breaker. Davies seemed to be struggling all night as he fell in race one and then suffered a poor start in the second moto. He backed that up with a dominant win and continues to lead the 250SX East points championship.

Seth Hammaker started the night with a win and put up a fight in the second main event of the night as he block passed Cole Davies en route to a third place finish. He looked to be a player for the overall win but a crash at the start relegated him to a sixth place finish and fourth at the night’s end. He tied in overall points but is credited with a fourth place result, losing more points to Davies in the championship.

450 QUALIFYING
The 450 Qualifying sessions were the subject of all the action this morning. Eli Tomac looked fast early on but a big crash in the whoop section saw him exit the track in the Alpinestars cart. He was evaluated and cleared with no breaks and rode again in Q2 but opted out early on. His time qualified him straight into the night show but Tomac is out for tonight’s racing due to lingering pain in his shoulder and hip.

Points leader Hunter Lawrence topped the overall times for the 450SX division. Lawrence took his time before laying down a heater but was one of only four riders in the 44-second range. Look for the 96 to be a threat once again in the main events. Cooper Webb was fastest in the first qualifying session but was second in the overall rankings. He put his Star Racing Yamaha on top of the pole early on and showed strong pace against the rest of the field. Malcolm Stewart clocked third overall on his Rockstar Energy Husqvarna, just six-tenths back from Lawrence. Ken Roczen and Jorge Prado rounded out the top five.
