SMX Next and KTM Jr. Schedules Revealed

The SMX Next program will be held at five Supercross rounds, while the KTM Junior Supercross is schedules for 10 rounds.

The 2026 Monster Energy SMX World Championship is poised to visit 16 different cities spread across 13 states.

The 450SX and 250sx the sport will be lining up at the Anaheim Opener in January, and at the other end of the athlete spectrum, fans can be the first to see the fastest amateurs in the country at the following Supercross events as the SMX League continues to develop the next generation of amateur prospects. Five Supercross rounds will feature top-level amateurs through the SMX Next program. Athletes competing in the SMX Next Class will be awarded points towards their pro Supercross license based on their finishing positions at each round.

SMX Next will be contested at the following rounds:

  • Round 3 – Anaheim, Calif. on Saturday, January 24 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim
  • Round 4 – Houston, Texas on Saturday, January 31 at NRG Stadium
  • Round 8 – Daytona Beach, Fla. on Saturday, February 28 at Daytona International Speedway
  • Round 10 – Birmingham, Ala. on Saturday, March 21 at Protective Stadium
  • Round 15 – Philadelphia, Pa. on Saturday, April 25 at Lincoln Financial Field

The 2026 program will culminate with the SMX Next AMA National Championship at Round 15 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania for athletes who qualify.

In its 27th year of competition, the KTM Junior Supercross, presented by Wells Fargo and Powered by Ford F-150 Lightning, will be featured at 10 rounds throughout the 2026 season culminating in an 11th Championship Round that will take place in Salt Lake City at the final round of the indoor Supercross season.

The longstanding, exciting introductory platform first introduced by KTM North America, Inc. over two decades ago will continue to encourage the future stars of Supercross to hit the very same track as their factory heroes.

The KTM Junior Supercross will be presented at the following rounds:

  • Round 1 – Anaheim, Calif. on Saturday, January 10 at Angel Stadium of Anaheim
  • Round 2 – San Diego, Calif. on Saturday, January 17 at Snapdragon Stadium
  • Round 4 – Houston, Texas on Saturday, January 31 at NRG Stadium
  • Round 5 – Glendale, Ariz. on Saturday, February 7 at State Farm Stadium
  • Round 7 – Arlington, Texas on Saturday, February 21 at AT&T Stadium
  • Round 9 – Indianapolis, Ind. on Saturday, March 7 at Lucas Oil Stadium
  • Round 11 – Detroit, Mich. on Saturday, March 28 at Ford Field
  • Round 12 – St. Louis, Mo., on Saturday, April 4 at The Dome At America’s Center
  • Round 13 – Nashville, Tenn. on Saturday, April 11 at Nissan Stadium
  • Round 16 – Denver, Colo. on Saturday, May 2 at Empower Field at Mile High
  • Round 17 – Salt Lake City, Utah on Saturday, May 9 at Rice-Eccles Stadium

Ticketing information and on sale dates for the Pro Motocross Championship season of the 2026 Monster Energy SMX World Championship series will be announced later in the year as well as the SMX Next Moto Combine and WMX rounds.
