Chase Sexton is rumored to be returning to Pro Motocross at the RedBud National, July 5. Sexton’s mechanic, Jade Dungey, posted a photo of the number-one Red Bull KTM 450 SX-F complete with red-white-and-blue graphics and the caption saying, “We are ready for America’s Birthday at RedBud. Really looking forward to having Chase Sexton back at the races and being back on the line enjoying what we do!”
Sexton has only raced one moto this season, the first moto of round one at Fox Raceway in Pala, California, where he crashed early in the race. He walked off the track but hasn’t raced since. Sexton and the team have been tight-lipped about the injuries he sustained that kept him from racing for so long. CN
