Jeremy Martin announced earlier this week that he will sit out this weekend’s round of Pro Motocross at Thunder Valley in Lakewood, Colorado. Instead, the former 250MX champion has shifted his focus to make a return for the Millville round where he will also “finish out” his career. Millville is quite literally Martin’s home race as his parents own the Spring Creek facility.

“Unfortunately, after my crash in Moto 1 at Hangtown, I’ve decided to sit out Thunder Valley this coming Saturday so that I can get back to 100% for Millville, which is where I’ve now decided I’d like to finish out my career with the team,” Martin said. “A massive thank you to everyone at Star Yamaha for their support and belief in me, and all of the people out there who have been supporting me. It’s been a privilege to ride under the truck, and as a lifelong fan of this sport, I’m excited to continue supporting the Star Yamaha team.”

The 2025 season marked a comeback year for Martin after previously taking time off from racing following the 2024 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season. A new deal with the Star Racing Yamaha team came about just before the Pro Motocross Championship and Martin returned for his third stint with the team. Unfortunately, a 21st overall at Fox Raceway and a DNF at Hangtown have hindered his return.
