The 2025 Bridgestone Canadian Superbike season kicked off over the May 17-18 weekend at Canada’s Shannonville Motorsport Park in Shannonville, Ontario, where Alex Dumas (Economy Lube BMW) came away a double winner.

The first CSBK race of the season on Saturday was a thriller, featuring a race-long battle between the eventual race winner Alex Dumas (23), second-place finisher Jordan Szoke (101), and Ben Young, who completed the podium in third place.
Dumas again had to work for his win on Sunday. Although he led from start to finish, several riders were close behind, ready to take advantage should Dumas falter. Dumas also survived a last-lap push from Ben Young to secure the victory by just 0.134 of a second. Szoke finished closely in third place.
The 16th win of Dumas’ career moves the 22-year-old into a tie with Pascal Picotte for fourth on the all-time Canadian Superbike list, trailing only Szoke (78), Steve Crevier (26) and Young (21). CN
