Zoar Motopark MX To Host Reunion/Ride/Vintage Race

A special rain-or-shine vintage motocross weekend event will be held on September 27-28 at the historic Zoar Motopark in Springville, New York. The park was restored in 2023 to hold a 50-year reunion and ride in its original 1973 configuration after being closed since 1983.

Gates open on Friday the 26th for free primitive camping (included with weekend admission).

MX bikes built in 2004 or earlier are welcome to ride the track on Saturday the 27th and/or sign up to race on Sunday with the Northeast Vintage Riders Club in a Northeast Regional AHRMA Vintage MX class.

In addition to the full weekend of old-school motocross, a $5100 guaranteed purse air-cooled and drum-brake 125cc two-stroke/200cc four-stroke GP race will be held to celebrate the 51st anniversary of the 125 World Cup race that was started in 1974.

Legendary racers Frank Stacy and Andy Stacy will be on hand, and you can meet with them at the Dean’s Moto Men tent on Saturday, September 27.
