Walker Porter (left) and Trevor Brunner will make up Turner Honda Racing’s Singles-class effort in AFT.
The team will also partner with Big Red SuperTwins to field Trent Lowe in the SuperTwins class aboard a Honda Transalp 750. Lowe graduates from the AFT Singles class following a six-year run in the category, the last two of which saw him claim two victories and eight podiums while competing for Turner Racing Honda.
The team will be managed by Kenny Coolbeth and Nick Henderson, with mechanics Mack McCormick and Michael Preston, along with Steve Beattie with TwentySix Suspension.
Team owner Mike Turner said, “It’s great to bring Kenny and Trevor back aboard while adding Nick Henderson to the mix. It’s going to be exciting to see what Walker can do after spending last year helping develop him in amateur competition. We’re also really excited to get involved with Trent, Mike, Steve, and Al Lamb on the twin. We lost my father, Mike Turner, Sr., last year and that has us focused on doing everything possible to make sure we come out swinging this year. He was the motivation for me to start this team with my brothers in the first place, and he truly loved the sport more than anyone. The team is dedicating this season to him.” CN
