Indian Motorcycle has announced its 2025 Indian Chief lineup, which include the new Sport Chief RT & Super Chief Dark Horse.

Both get the air-cooled Thunderstroke 116 V-twin and have three selectable ride modes (Sport, Standard, Tour).

The Sport Chief RT comes standard with all-weather locking rigid saddlebags with a capacity of 10 gallons, a two-up high Bolster seat, and an all-new PowerBand audio system that includes a pair of 2.5-inch mid-range speakers, one 4.5-inch subwoofer and two tweeters deliver 90 watts.
Other add-ons included on the Sport Chief RT include a 6.5-inch windscreen, forward foot controls, six-inch machined risers with moto-style handlebars and machined triples. The model comes with cast alloy wheels and 19-inch front, 16-inch rear Metzeler Cruisetec tires.
Suspension consists of KYB inverted forks and a pair of Fox Performance Adjustable Piggyback rear shocks with 23 clicks of adjustability. Dual Brembo four-piston calipers with semi-floating 320mm rotors are up front and single 2-piston caliper and 298mm floating rotor are at the rear.

“When we launched Sport Chief, we raised the bar for performance cruisers,” said Aaron Jax, Vice President for Indian Motorcycle. “After observing the aftermarket landscape, our product team saw an opportunity to design a motorcycle that came standard with high-quality, factory components that were traditionally aftermarket add-ons. With Sport Chief RT, we’re adding custom-inspired componentry to create the ultimate package for riders looking to enhance style, add storage and integrate audio.”
The 2025 Super Chief Dark Horse features blacked-out paint and components and is available in two trim options: Limited and Dark Horse.
The Super Chief comes standard with a four-inch touchscreen display powered by Ride Command, ride modes, cruise control, keyless ignition and USB Charging capabilities. It also has the Metzeler Cruisetec tires, but they are on wire wheels.
The 2025 Indian Chief lineup also includes return of the Chief and Chief Bobber, making a total of four models in varying trim levels. The 2025 Indian Chief lineup will begin shipping to dealers in February.
