Nichols Signs With H.E.P. Suzuki

Colt Nichols, who recently parted ways with Beta, has signed with the H.E.P. Motorsports Twisted Tea Suzuki Team. Nichols will finish out the 2024 AMA Pro Motocross Championship with the squad and compete in the SuperMotocross Playoff. Both parties agreed to a mutual extension option for the 2025 season. Nichols joins teammates Shane McElrath and Kyle Chisholm.

Colt Nichols will finish out the year on the H.E.P. Motorsports Twisted Tea Suzuki.

“I’m very excited to be joining the H.E.P. Suzuki team.” said Nichols. “It’s pretty cool to get to sign in 2024, get some races under our belt this year, iron out a few things and hopefully come into 2025 swinging. I’m very happy to be a part of the team and am grateful for the opportunity to get to work with the staff and the bike to get this whole thing figured out.”

Nichols has the option to extend his contract with the team through 2025.

Motorsports/Suzuki presented by Progressive Insurance team. “Being a former Lites Champion, Colt has the talent and pedigree to race his Suzuki RM-Z450 to great results. In the short time we have worked together, Colt has been very insightful and contributory on how to improve the motorcycle as we progress throughout this partnership. I look forward to seeing Colt on the starting line.”

Nichols’ first race on the Suzuki will be this weekend at Washougal on July 20. CN
