Three Riders To Complete Careers At Supercross Finale
Ryan Nitzen | May 7, 2024
The end of the 2024 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Season is in sight with the series finale taking place this weekend in Salt Lake City, Utah for round 17 and with it comes the end of an era. For three names on the entry list, it is set to be their last time lining up under the lights for a gate drop at an AMA Supercross. Adam Cianciarulo, Dean Wilson, and Phil Nicoletti have all announced that SLC will be their final round.
Adam Cianciarulo
AC already stated that Salt Lake will be his last professional race ever as he will not compete in the Pro Motocross Championship or the SuperMotocross Playoff rounds. Currently he’s 15th in points with a season-best finish of eighth at round two in San Francisco. Kawasaki put together these three videos to celebrate Adam’s career with the team.

Dean Wilson
Wilson is also not competing in the outdoors as he raced the Australian and World Supercross and Championships last summer when the American nationals took place. With the 2024 WSX series still to be released, it’s unclear if Deano will race beyond Saturday night. Wilson sits one spot back from Cianciarulo in 16th with his best result being a 10th at San Diego.
Phil Nicoletti
Nicoletti previously announced he’s in for outdoors as well as the SMX rounds but round 17 will be his final Supercross. Now if you’re an avid PulpMX listener, you know Filthy Phil always has his price and has hinted at returning for certain rounds in the future just not likely a full-time Supercross gig. Nicoletti is currently ninth 250SX West Coast point standings with his best finish coming at San Francisco with a fourth.
