2023 Super Motocross World Championship Schedule Announced

The 2023 American racing schedule has been announced as the promoters of Supercross (Feld) and Motocross (MX Sports) have joined forces. Their individual series will still maintain their heritage, predominantly familiar schedules, and an individual championships. What’s new is the birth of the Super Motocross World Championship which will be a three-round playoff series at the end of the outdoor nationals.
The Super Motocross World Championship will combine points from the Supercross and Pro Motocross championships and qualify the top riders into the playoff rounds. Riders who win a Supercross main event or an Outdoor overall will automatically be qualified into the Super Motocross World Championship. The three-round playoffs will offer single race points at the first round, double points at round two, and triple points at round three. The rider with the most points at the end will collect the purse money, $1 Million for the 450’s and $500,000 for the 250’s. While the first and second rounds have yet to be announced, the finale will take place in Los Angeles, California at the LA Coliseum. Another big announcement is the TV package which will see all 31 races streamed via Peacock.
