Cycle News Staff | August 13, 2019
Cooper Webb will sit out the remaining two rounds of the 2019 Lucas Oil AMA Pro Motocross Championship. According to his Red Bull KTM Team, Webb suffered a bone contusion in his left knee that will prevent him from competing in this weekend’s national at Budds Creek and the final round at the Ironman National in Indiana. He suffered the injury in the first moto last weekend at the Unadilla National in New York.
Cooper Webb Out For Rest Of Season
The good news is that the 2019 AMA Supercross Champion will not have to undergo surgery but must give the knee a rest in order to heal up.
Webb, who won one round this season at Spring Creek, is currently sixth in the 450MX Champion.
