Michael Rutter Shreds the KTM 1290 Super Duke GT at the Isle of Man—Michael Rutter is one of the most successful and longest-serving riders at the Isle of Man, having won seven TTs as well as being the rider with the most wins at the daunting Macau Grand Prix with nine victories.
He’s recently tied up with KTM and the two have collaborated on a short film where Rutter takes to the TT course on the Isle of Man—albeit at a much slower pace than what he’s used to.

The steed of choice is the 2019 KTM 1290 Super Duke GT, a bike that’s been revamped for the coming year and one we tested here and here.
Rutter takes you through a tour of Ballaugh Bridge, The Gooseneck and the Jurby airfield, commonly the pace where TT shakedowns happen.
We’ll be testing this new bad boy as soon as it lands in the U.S. Until then you’ll have to be satisfied with watching a proper racer give it some around the most famous motorcycle racing venue in the world.
Here’s Rutter last year at the Isle of Man, where he became the first rider to lap the TT course at over 120mph on an electric motorcycle.
