REV’IT! has released an updated version of its Ignition jacket and pants. The Ignition 3 gear is made from a combination of leather and textile.
The leather is reinforced Monaco performance cowhide that breaks in over time and develops a patina and a custom-molded fit. Panels of tear- and abrasion-resistance Dynax mesh is used on the outer shells of both the jacket and pants to provide airflow on hot riding days.
The jacket has three layers for all-weather riding. Under the outer shell, it has removable thermal vest and a waterproof liner. The waterproof liner is made from proprietary REV’IT! Hydratex 3L membrane. The pants also have a removable waterproof liner. Stretch material is used along the inseam and at the back of the knees of the pants for ease of movement, on or off the bike.
Armor includes REV’IT! SeeFlex Level 2 CE-protection at the knees, shoulders and elbows, while SeeSmart CE-Level 1 Type B is at the hips. The women’s gear is designed from the ground-up to fit the female form, not sized down from the men’s pattern.
The Ignition 3 gear comes in black and prices are listed at $439.99 for the pants and $539.99 for the jacket.
