Leading almost from the start, the recently crowned WORCS champ added the desert title to his résumé with a masterful ride over runner-up Taylor Robert—the FMF KTM Factory Off-road Racing Team ace’s win streak stopped at three—and third-place Nick Burson. With Axel Pearson finishing fourth, that made three of the top four finishers Purvines DA8 Racing riders. Johnny Campbell Racing (JCR) Honda’s Ricky Brabec, the defending series champ, suffered a poor start and later DNFed with a reported bike issue.
