2017 Triumph Bonneville Bobber: FIRST LOOK
Cycle News Staff | October 25, 2016
Triumph revealed its all-new Bonneville Bobber, which Triumph calls a “brutal beauty – a pure Bonneville hot rod.”
The Bobber is propelled by the same 1200cc engine found in the Bonneville T120 but, according to Triumph, has more torque and bottom-end power than the T120.
It has what Triumph says is a first-in-class tailorable riding position. The floating seat can be positioned up and forward, as well as down and backward. Seat height is just 27.2 inches.
The Bobber features a number of modern touches, including ride-by-wire technology, Road and Rain riding modes, ABS, switchable traction control, torque assist clutch, LED rear light, engine immobilizer, and fully informative digital menu system.
It comes with spoked wheels with black rims, and is fitted with Avon Cobra tires, developed specifically for the Bobber.
Triumph says it has more than 150 accessories available for customizing.
The Bobber will be offer in four options: Morello Red, two-tone Competition green/Frozen silver, classic Jet black, and Ironstone with a matte finish.
Pricing and availability have not yet been announced. CN
