Yamaha Extended Services/Graves/Yamaha’s JD Beach waited until late on the session to post a 2:13.656sec lap and displace long time session leader, teammate Garrett Gerloff, by 0.246sec.
Third went to the impressive 2015 Superstock 600 champion Joe Roberts on the Wheels In Motion/Motosport.com/Meen Yamaha, 0.523sec off the lead, with former Moto2 rider Valentin Debise (M4 Sportbike/Trackgear.com/Suzuki) fourth and Benny Solis fifth.
