Colton Haaker Crowned SuperEnduro World Champion

American riders Colton Haaker and Cody Webb went 1-2 in the FIM SuperEnduro World Championship after a cutthroat showdown at the series finale in Madrid, Spain. In a remarkable finish to a thrilling season, Haaker and Webb duked it out in the last of three heats for the final win, and the championship. Rockstar Energy Husqvarna’s Colton Haaker would not be denied this time, and battled Webb all the way to the checkers to nab the title.
Cody Webb, aboard his Factory KTM, took second in the final race, and in the championship, with his teammate Jonny Walker taking third in the championship. Factory KTM’s Taylor Robert and Husqvarna’s Alfredo Gomez rounded out the top-five. Young American rider Ty Tremaine finished seventh in the championship – a commendable feat in his first year in the premier class. Defending champion Taddy Blazusiak carded eighth overall after missing a portion of the series due to injury.
In the Junior category, Manuel Lettenbichler continued his dominance and nabbed the Junior World Championship crown with a nearly flawless season, his only defeat coming at round three in Argentina.
