Eli Tomac joins Kawasaki

It’s official, Eli Tomac joins Monster Energy Kawasaki.

Kawasaki confirmed what’s already been known for many weeks that Eli Tomac will be joining its Monster Energy factory Kawasaki Team. Tomac joins returning team rider Wil Hahn for the 2016 season in the 450 class.

“The new KX450F provides a great platform to build champions,” said Dan Fahie, Monster Energy Kawasaki Team Manager. “I believe we are poised to have a successful 2016 season with Eli and Wil under our tent. Both riders have proven to be top contenders in the 450 class and they are just as enthusiastic as we are to get back to racing and on top of the box.”

Tomac hasn’t raced since suffering shoulder injuries at the Colorado National MX May 30 and will make his Kawasaki debut at Anaheim I, the opening round of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series. Hahn will compete in this weekend’s Monster Energy Cup.
