BRASELTON, GA (April 19, 2015) – Meen Motorsports Yamaha’s Joe Roberts won again in Road Atlanta Superstock 600 action, but this time it was a little closer with Travis Wyman actually closing the gap on the leader during the middle stages of the race. In the end the margin between the two was 2.427 seconds. Wyatt Farris rounded out the podium finishers. He was 5.16-second back.
Roberts was out front from the start. He had one moment on his Yamaha R6 on the drying track, hitting a wet patch and getting sideways. Richie Escalante, Travis Wyman and Wyatt Farris battled close for second. Wyman took the position on lap four. At that point Wyman actually began narrowing the gap on Roberts, chopping about a second per lap, but Roberts responded and wicked it up to hang on for his second win of the weekend.
Yamaha rider swept the first five positions with Richie Escalante and Andy DiBrino rounding out the top five. Nick McFadden was the top non-Yamaha rider, taking sixth on a Suzuki.
