THR Motorsports/Precision Concepts/Bonanza Plumbing-backed Ricky Brabec came from behind to win the 65th Annual Check Chase World Championship National Hare & Hound in Barstow, California, February 22. It was the second round of the Kenda/SRT AMA Hare & Hound National Championship Series, which Brabec now leads. He took the points lead away from first-round winner Gary Sutherlin who did not finish the race.

Second place went to FMF/KTM’s Ivan Ramirez, followed by Purvines Racing Beta’s Axel Pearson.

Opening-round winner Sutherlin was recovering from a bad start when he reportedly suffered a broken wrist.

Brandon Prieto and Nick Burson rounded out the top five overall.
