With just two races remaining, only nine points separate the top three positions in the 2014 GEICO AMA EnduroCross Pro Championship battle. The pressure will be on Cody Webb, Taddy Blazusiak and Colton Haaker (first, second and third place, respectively) as they head into the penultimate round in Boise, Idaho this coming weekend. Each of the top three riders have two wins this season.

For Factory Beta and Stillwell Performance-backed Cody Webb, his momentum seems the most consistent and his first-place spot in the points verifies his season is on a roll. The most recent winner of the top three, Webb has found new speed this season. But the GEICO-supported Webb will have to ride flawlessly if he wants to take home his first EnduroCross Championship.

Merely seven points back of Webb in second place, Factory Red Bull KTM’s Taddy Blazusiak is also a two-race winner in 2014 and, even if his season thus far is short of the dominating norm, you simply can’t deny he’s a favorite every weekend. After all, he’s the five-time defending champion with more race wins than the entire history of other race winners combined. You can’t count Blazusiak out. And he could string together two wins very easily.

Two points further back in third sits Rockstar/JCRHonda/Lucas Oil’s Colton Haaker. You’ve probably seen a recent viral video of Haaker doing a full 360 on his dirt bike. Off a log. If you haven’t, you should. It’s awesome and Haaker looks to wow the crowds in Idaho and California over the next two weekends with the speed that puts him on top of Hot Laps often and has him in the exclusive two-win club.

Who’s the wildcard, you ask? Surely it’s Factory FMF KTM Offroad’s Taylor Robert. In his first year on KTM, Robert has nabbed a win from the top three racers, found 100% fitness after a pre-season injury and just turned in a gritty performance at the ISDE in Argentina to get the United States’ World Trophy Team to second place. He’s coming straight off his first ever AMA EnduroCross win and has refused to back down to anyone on the track. If someone can get in there and cause the points to shake up, it’s Robert.

Did we mention; Mike Brown, Geoff Aaron, Max Gerston, Bobby Prochnau, Kyle Redmond, Cory Graffunder and more of the world’s best off-road racers that will be fighting for podium positions as well?

The penultimate round will take place this coming weekend in Boise, Idaho and then the top EnduroCross riders will head to Ontario, California for the finals on Saturday, November 22nd.
